As a Product Manager - Workday, you'll be the Product Lead for Workday across the Qantas Group, partnering with stakeholders across People, IT, Finance and the broader business to ensure our people technology platforms remain effective, scalable and aligned to business needs. You'll oversee product roadmaps, prioritise enhancements, lead release management activities and ensure operational excellence across our core HR technology landscape. You'll also lead a small team of specialists responsible for product support, configuration, governance and continuous improvement.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring deep Workday expertise, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance strategic product development with operational delivery. You'll act as a trusted advisor across the organisation, helping shape the future of our people technology ecosystem while ensuring day-to-day platform stability and a seamless employee experience. You'll work across a broad range of people processes including payroll, remuneration and core HR functionality, while leading platform enhancements that deliver meaningful value for the business.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• Significant experience managing and optimising Workday

• Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring and developing high-performing teams

• Deep understanding of HRIS configuration, governance, system releases and continuous improvement practices

• Strong experience balancing BAU operations, stakeholder demands and competing priorities within a complex organisation

• Proven ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple business functions

• Experience leading system enhancements, product roadmaps, release management and digital transformation initiatives

• Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking and problem-solving capability

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business outcomes

• Tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in HR technology, People Systems, HRIS, Product Management or a related discipline
