As a Clinical Implementation Manager, you will lead the delivery of AI-powered cancer diagnostics projects from contract to clinical use, managing multiple lab implementations in parallel. This senior role involves driving technical integration, directing internal and external teams, and ensuring successful validation and go-live dates for customers globally.
Mindpeak is hiring a full-time Clinical Implementation Manager based on-site in Hamburg to lead the rollout of diagnostic AI software across clinical laboratories. This senior delivery position carries end-to-end responsibility for taking customer laboratories from signed contract through technical integration, clinical validation, and routine clinical use.
POSITION: Clinical Implementation Manager LOCATION: Hamburg, Germany (On-site with up to 10% international travel) TYPE: Full-time
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementation Delivery and Technical Integration:
Own end-to-end project execution for approximately 10 concurrent laboratory rollouts, maintaining committed go-live dates, milestone tracking, risk registers, and technical dependencies.
Drive technical integrations between Mindpeak software and client laboratory systems, including Image Management Systems (IMS), Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), digital pathology slide scanners, and IT network infrastructure.
Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams across machine learning, software engineering, quality management, customer IT, and pathology staff without direct line authority.
Support clinical validation studies alongside laboratory medical directors, ensuring calibration, data integrity, and technical prerequisites are fulfilled for regulatory and accreditation standards.
Triage resource conflicts across competing projects, identifying operational bottlenecks early with actionable solutions.
Customer Management and Process Optimization:
Serve as the primary operational contact for customer accounts through weekly cadence calls, documentation, action items, and post-go-live operational support.
Translate customer observations and bug reports into structured product requirements, routing commercial expansion leads to the sales team.
Refine implementation playbooks, milestone tracking tools, and onboarding documentation to improve delivery cycle times and predictability.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 to 3+ years of experience leading external client rollouts in health tech, digital pathology, clinical software, medical devices, or complex enterprise B2B software delivery.
Proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder delivery timelines end to end from kickoff to successful go-live.
Academic degree in a life or natural science (biology, medicine, chemistry, physics) or equivalent professional scientific background.
Strong technical communication skills to coordinate with software engineers, laboratory directors, pathologists, and hospital IT staff.
Fluent professional English (written and verbal).
Willingness to participate in late-afternoon or early-evening calls to support US client time zones.
Ability to travel internationally up to 10% (3 to 4 trips per year, primarily to US client sites and scientific conferences).
