Summary

The incumbent will work in rotational shifts, supporting global markets and ensuring correct and timely processing of transactions while adhering to regional laws and procedures.
This role supports global markets operations across Share Dealing, Employee Share Plans, Registrations and Transfer Agency, and Share Settlements. The incumbent will understand applicable regional laws and regulations and perform day-to-day activities in line with established procedures and service standards. The role operates in rotational shifts, including APAC shifts starting at 3:30 AM and EMEA shifts starting at 11:30 AM.
The role involves accurate and timely processing of transactions across transfer agency, registrations, static data updates, employee share plans, dealing, settlements, and reconciliations. The incumbent will work closely with global teams and international stakeholders, maintain strong working relationships, support integrated processes, and assist other teams as required. Knowledge of capital market products, including equities, bonds, and transfer agency operations, is required.
Responsibilities include maintaining and updating process knowledge and KOPs, responding to clients within agreed deadlines, maintaining systems and databases, preparing client responses, presentations and reports, and ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory, procedural, industry and client-specific requirements. The incumbent must follow escalation procedures for risks, non-compliance, adverse counterparty information, reputational concerns, inappropriate practices, or other identified issues. Mandatory training and process updates must be completed within required timelines, while individual targets, service standards, quality requirements and SLAs must be consistently achieved.
The role requires ownership of responsibilities and awareness of their impact on the wider team. The incumbent must maintain a high level of accuracy, minimise rework, complete assigned tasks within SLA, demonstrate strong customer service, and contribute positively to team objectives and the firm’s values.
Candidates should have 0–2 years of experience in financial or capital markets, preferably in Transfer Agency operations, with basic knowledge of financial market products. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline from a recognised institution is preferred. A qualification in business, financial markets, law, or the securities industry is desirable.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, motivation, organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, numeracy, and effective time management. The candidate should be able to process, record, review and complete administrative activities accurately and within deadlines, including placing trades, opening client accounts, updating client information, settlements and reconciliations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, is required. Candidates must be able to follow established procedures and regulatory requirements, work effectively under supervision and within a team, meet tight deadlines, manage demanding workloads, support colleagues, and take on additional responsibilities when required. A strong commitment to continuous learning, professional development, accuracy, and delivering work right first time is essential.
