Join WWT Slimbridge as a Seasonal Grounds Warden to maintain gardens, grounds, and visitor spaces at a leading wetland visitor attraction. This full-time, fixed-term contract involves caring for living collections and ensuring a thriving environment for wildlife and visitors.

As a Grounds Warden, you'll play a key role in caring for our gardens, grounds, living collections, play areas and visitor spaces, helping to create an environment where both wildlife and people can thrive.
This is a full time Fixed Term Contract for 3 months, working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
About You
We are seeking an individual with a passion for horticulture/gardening who also has commercial grounds maintenance/landscaping experience and some experience of working in a private or public garden/visitor attraction.
This role is varied, interesting and calls for a can do practical approach grounded in experience and competence. You will bring a range of knowledge and skills, be organised with excellent communication skills.
A full driving licence is essential, along with practical experience of using brushcutters and basic garden maintenance machinery.
You should also be interested in the work of a conservation organisation and be able to engage with diverse audiences.
