Role overview
Summary
As a Junior Business Developer at Durabrik, you will identify and analyze potential locations for residential developments, conducting market research and feasibility studies. You will grow into an acquisition specialist, negotiating with owners and collaborating with project teams under guidance.
At Durabrik, we are constantly looking for new locations for residential (re)developments. As a Junior Business Developer, you will search for potential locations. You will spot real estate opportunities, conduct market research, and analyze the locations.
You do not need to have mastered all the steps in this process yet, but basic knowledge and experience are required.
What are you going to do?
You will grow in this role with coaching from an experienced acquisition manager and colleagues within project development.
You are looking for interesting land, properties, or locations with potential.
You assess a site based on location, surroundings, and development opportunities.
You conduct market studies and feasibility analyses.
You gather urban planning information and interpret it (BPA, RUP, permits).
You negotiate with owners, real estate agents, and notaries. (under the guidance of the Acquisition Manager)
You collaborate with project developers, engineers, and construction consultants to arrive at a strong project idea.
In short: you grow step by step into a fully-fledged acquisition specialist, but start from your current level of knowledge.
Your profile
We are not looking for a finished expert — but rather someone with potential and a desire to learn.
You are someone who…
Gets enthusiastic about real estate, project development, or spatial planning.
Enjoys building relationships and communicates smoothly.
Can think analytically.
Eager to delve into files and go out into the field with people.
Is proactive and eager to learn.
Glad to take responsibility once you are ready for it.
Background?
Master's graduate (Law, Economics, Urban Planning, Architecture, ... or other relevant field) who wishes to start in a support role, with the opportunity to grow into a more independent, responsible role as an acquisition specialist.
Some experience in the real estate sector is a plus, but not a must.
What do we offer you?
Durabrik, part of the Camino Group, is strongly committed to growth and development.
You get:
An extensive training program (on-the-job + knowledge sharing by experts).
An environment where you can learn safely and are allowed to make mistakes.
Flexible workplace (home, office).
Attractive salary package with fringe benefits (including a company car, cafeteria plan, meal vouchers, ...)
32 vacation days, including construction leave.
Use of our apartment in Nieuwpoort for a holiday.
Working within a warm, ambitious, and innovative construction group.
Why is this position ideal for a junior?
Because you start from your strengths and grow at your own pace.
You receive intensive guidance, you don't have to handle files alone, and you work alongside an experienced acquisition manager who becomes your sparring partner.

The roots of Camino were planted in 1966 by Jacques Callens, who founded the construction company. In 1996, Joost and Claudia took over the business from their father, transforming it into the people-oriented organization it is today. Camino is more than a company; its name refers to the road to Santiago de Compostela, symbolizing a path towards the future for both the company and its employees, where each individual takes responsibility to realize their ambitions with open eyes and arms.
