Role overview

Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for complex, high-profile, and ecologically interesting projects. The Senior Ecologist will develop their skills in all aspects of ecology and consultancy work through mentoring, structured reviews, and tailored training programs.

This is a great opportunity to join our well-established and friendly Oxfordshire team, and one of the most successful independent ecological consultancies in the UK. The post will be based with our Oxford team with the opportunity to work from either our Milton Park office in Didcot and/or our forthcoming co-working space in Milton Keynes.

You will take responsibility for complex, high-profile and ecologically interesting projects. We will work with you to develop your skills in all aspects of ecology and consultancy work through mentoring, a structured review process and tailored training programme.

Our office at Milton Park, Didcot is located just off the A34, with excellent public transport links. Milton Park is a dedicated science, technology and business park with a large number of amenities including cafes, gym & swimming pool, nursery, pharmacy, urban gardens and a programme of community events throughout the year.

In addition to a competitive salary and 25 days (excluding bank holidays) annual leave, we offer benefits that include private healthcare, company-funded social events, long service rewards and health and wellbeing benefits.
