Role overview
Summary
This role supports Valuers within the Commercial/Industrial Institution team by preparing valuation reports, conducting financial and sensitivity analysis, and compiling market evidence. The Assistant Valuer will also build client relationships and attend site inspections, requiring strong analytical, financial, and communication skills.

The Brisbane team prides itself in having a strong client base across all segments of the market and is often sought out by our clients to undertake more complex valuation assignments.
Our Assistant Valuer role requires a provision of analytical skills, valuations and financial capability working within the Commercial / Industrial Institution team.
What this job involves
To assist with timely and accurate preparation of valuation reports under direct supervision of a Director
Undertaking financial and sensitivity analysis to be utilised in valuation reports including use of Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models
Compiling and verifying sales data and market evidence utilised in valuation reports
Attending appropriate client functions and seminars
Accompanying valuers on site inspections.

You enjoy building client relationships & have collaborative relations with your colleagues and wider business community. You are able to make decisions to resolve problems, improve operationally and regularly communicate plans and performance progress.
You will have a keen interest in the commercial real estate market and a basic understanding of influences in this sector as well as be tertiary qualified in property valuation, with a view to gaining registration with relevant professional authorities.
