Ratan Villas Sariska Resort, located by the sparkling Silliserh Lake and surrounded by the picturesque Aravalli Hills, offers a tranquil retreat on the edge of Sariska National Park in the Alwar district. The resort blends luxury with nature, featuring 51 safari tent-style cottages with plunge pools and accommodations for up to 150 guests. Known for its immersive experiences, it provides guided walking safaris and game drives (seasonal). While the park closes during monsoon, the lake brims with vibrant wildlife, making it a year-round destination.


Role Description

We are seeking a full-time on-site Naturalist to join our team at Ratan Villas Sariska Resort, located in the Alwar district. The Naturalist will lead and organize guided walking safaris and game drives, educating guests about local flora, fauna, and conservation efforts. This role includes delivering environmental education programs, conducting wildlife research, managing conservation projects, and assisting in enhancing guest experiences through engaging storytelling and nature interpretation. The Naturalist will work closely with other resort staff to deliver an enriching and sustainable guest experience while promoting wildlife awareness and preservation.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and passion for Wildlife and conservation practices

  • Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences

  • Experience in Environmental Education and conducting interactive learning activities

  • Skills in Research and understanding of ecological systems and biodiversity

  • Basic Project Management skills to plan and execute nature-related programs

  • An enthusiastic and proactive approach to educating guests about preserving and appreciating wildlife

  • Ability to work on-site in a remote, nature-based environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Wildlife Biology, Natural Resources, or a related field is preferred

  • Prior experience in similar roles within nature lodges or wildlife resorts is a plus
