Summary
The Head of Operations will be responsible for building and improving internal processes, communication flows, and tools to enhance company execution and reduce friction. This role involves leading strategic initiatives, supporting company planning, and managing a team focused on operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
Company Operations
Build and improve internal processes that help teams work faster and with less friction.
Define clear ownership, handoffs, and decision-making flows between teams.
Find and remove operational bottlenecks, duplicated work, and unnecessary bureaucracy.
Improve how information moves across the company: meetings, updates, documentation, and escalation paths.
Build and manage a team responsible for internal operations and non-development project coordination.
Planning and Reporting
Support company planning, goal-setting, and review cycles.
Help leadership turn company priorities into clear operational plans.
Build simple reports and dashboards for internal operations and strategic initiatives.
Track progress, results, risks, and blockers.
Use data and feedback to measure impact, improve decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
Strategic Initiatives
Lead strategic initiatives outside product development.
Turn leadership priorities into clear plans, owners, timelines, and expected outcomes.
Coordinate cross-functional work between departments such as Brand, Finance, Legal, People, Office, etc.
Keep stakeholders aligned and make risks, blockers, and decisions visible.
Internal Tools and Systems
Own the company’s internal tools for planning, task tracking, reporting, documentation, and collaboration.
Select, improve, and simplify tools used by teams.
Drive adoption of tools and make sure they are used consistently.
Identify where automation or AI can reduce manual work.
Job requirements
You will thrive here if you have
5+ years of experience in Operations, Business Operations, Strategy, Business Development, Chief of Staff, or similar roles.
Experience improving company processes, communication flows, and internal tools.
Experience leading complex cross-functional projects outside software development delivery.
Strong ability to turn unclear business needs into clear plans, owners, timelines, and next steps.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with senior leadership.
Clear and structured communication in English.
Strong analytical skills; able to use data, reports, and feedback to improve operations.
Good commercial understanding; able to connect operational work to business impact.
Hands-on attitude: comfortable both designing processes and making sure they are actually used.
Good understanding of AI tools and practical ways to apply them in operations.
