About the Role

As our first AI Sales Specialist intern, you will own the revenue pipeline end-to-end — from prospecting to close. You'll help SMEs and mid-market businesses understand how AI automation can cut costs, speed up ops, and eliminate manual work. You'll work directly with the founder, co-create GTM strategy, and be a key voice shaping how we sell.

This is a high-ownership, high-reward role. Not a cog. A builder.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: outreach, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close

  • Identify automation use cases specific to each prospect's workflows (WhatsApp CRM, lead routing, AI calling, document processing, etc.)

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of SME and enterprise prospects across verticals (interior design, real estate, e-commerce, services)

  • Conduct consultative discovery calls to map pain points to our automation stack

  • Collaborate with the founder and tech team to scope custom solutions and prepare proposals

  • Manage relationships post-sale to drive retention, upsells, and referrals

  • Track pipeline, forecast revenue, and report weekly using CRM (Zoho)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 2 Months in a B2B sales role — SaaS, cloud, IT services, or automation preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to close deals independently, including pricing negotiation

  • Comfortable explaining technical concepts (APIs, workflows, AI tools) to non-technical buyers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling AI, automation, or no-code/low-code solutions

  • Familiarity with tools like Make.com, n8n, WhatsApp Business API, or similar

  • Prior experience in a startup or founder-led sales environment

  • Track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets

  • Strong written communication — you'll be drafting outreach, proposals, and follow-ups yourself
