ZutaCore, a California-based company developing liquid cooling solutions for data centers, has raised $100 million in a Series C funding round.

The investment was backed by Mitsubishi Electric, Carrier Ventures, and Samsung Electronics through Samsung Ventures.

Funding to Support Global Expansion

The company plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its commercial presence across global markets. In addition, it aims to accelerate product deployments and invest in research and development for future chip architectures that require cooling for processors exceeding 4,000 watts.

As demand for artificial intelligence infrastructure grows, data centers are facing increasing challenges around power consumption and heat management. ZutaCore is positioning its technology to address these requirements.

Focus on Waterless Liquid Cooling

ZutaCore develops HyperCool, a patented direct-to-chip cooling platform designed for AI and high-performance computing environments.

The system uses a closed-loop process that relies on boiling and condensation to transfer heat away from processors. According to the company, the technology can help reduce data center energy consumption while eliminating the need for water in the cooling process.

Expansion of Deployment Footprint

The company reports that it has completed more than 75 deployments worldwide. It has also established a 2MW End-of-Row thermal emulation platform in Israel to support testing and development activities.

Furthermore, ZutaCore recently introduced its OmniTherm cold plate, which is designed to support full-power operation for NVIDIA Blackwell-based server systems.

Leadership Team

ZutaCore is led by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Erez Freibach, President and Chief Revenue Officer Brian Lillie, and Chief Product and Technology Officer My Truong.

The executive team also includes Chief Financial Officer Yaniv Reinhold, Chief People Officer Sarah Warshavsky Oberman, Chief Research and Development Officer Yoni Nir, and Chief Operating Officer Sharon Shafran.
