Vorflux Secures $15 Million Seed Funding
AI software engineering startup Vorflux has raised $15 million in a seed funding round to accelerate development of its AI-powered software engineering platform.
The funding round was backed by Y Combinator, Peak XV Partners, Powerset, Alliance, along with angel investors including Parker Conrad, Immad Akhund, and Balaji Srinivasan.
The company plans to use the investment to expand its platform, which is designed to automate software engineering workflows beyond code generation.
Building an AI-Powered Software Engineering Workflow
Founded in July 2026 by Prasanna Sankar, co-founder and former CTO of Rippling, Vorflux develops an AI platform that helps engineering teams automate planning, coding, testing, code review, and deployment.
The platform integrates with repositories, databases, CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and workplace applications. Users can submit requests through sources such as GitHub issues, Slack messages, Linear tickets, Loom recordings, or text prompts, allowing the platform to generate implementation plans, execute development tasks, run tests, and produce production-ready pull requests.
Focus on Enterprise Development Teams
Vorflux uses multiple AI models for different engineering tasks, including planning, code review, and testing. The platform also performs adversarial code reviews and browser-based quality assurance testing, attaching evidence of completed workflows to pull requests.
The company has also introduced a Chrome extension that enables users to annotate web applications, capture screenshots, and send visual feedback directly to AI agents for implementation.
Expanding AI Software Engineering
According to the company, the funding will support continued platform development as it targets enterprise engineering teams seeking to automate software development workflows.
Vorflux aims to simplify software engineering processes by combining AI planning, implementation, testing, and review into a single platform.
