The role:

We're looking for a PM to own Search at Snapmint. You'll be responsible for building a modern search engine from the ground up - one that delivers relevant, personalized results to millions of users on our app. This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of product, ML, and data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end search experience - from query understanding and retrieval to ranking, filtering, and results

• Identify and fix search quality issues across the stack — whether the root cause is in query understanding, retrieval, ranking, or catalogue data quality

• Improve search relevance and conversion through structured experimentation - A/B testing, offline benchmarks, and human annotation

• Work closely with engineering and data science to implement ML and AI-driven improvements to search

• Define and track search-specific metrics - precision, recall, NDCG, and conversion

• Build auto-suggest, personalization, and recommendation features that complement search

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of product management experience, with 2–3 years directly owning search, recommendations, auto-suggest, or a closely related ML/AI product

• Experience owning e-commerce search or search at comparable consumer scale — large catalogues, high query volumes

• Strong understanding of the end-to-end search stack - query understanding, retrieval, ranking/reranking, filtering, and results

• Ability to diagnose whether a search problem originates in query understanding, retrieval, ranking, or catalogue/data quality

• Familiarity with relevance measurement techniques - NDCG, human annotation, offline benchmarks, and online A/B testing

• Basic understanding of RAG and LLM/vector search - including trade-offs
