Product Specialist (Lighting Industry)

Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Product Specialist with a background in the lighting industry to join our team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will play a key part in market research, product research, and product planning, helping ensure our lighting solutions stay aligned with U.S. market trends and customer needs. You will work closely with key accounts to gather feedback and support ongoing projects, while collaborating with sales, R&D, supply chain, and marketing teams to move products from concept to launch. Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on the U.S. lighting industry, including industry trends, competitor activities, channel changes, and customer needs; produce research reports.

• Serve key accounts by following up on customer requirements, product feedback, and project progress; assist in maintaining and strengthening customer relationships.

• Carry out product research, including product performance, pricing, certifications, selling points, and competitive comparison analysis, to support product selection and iteration.

• Assist in product planning, including product line review, new product initiation, product positioning, and launch scheduling.

• Collaborate with sales, R&D, supply chain, and marketing teams to drive products from requirement to launch.

• Organize and maintain product materials, quotation documents, and market intelligence databases.

• Perform other product-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; majors in Marketing, International Trade, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or Lighting-related fields preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the lighting industry; familiar with lighting products (e.g., LED luminaires, light sources, smart lighting) and industry fundamentals.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work in Los Angeles.

• Fluent in both Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with teams and clients in both the U.S. and China.

• Strong capabilities in market research, data analysis, and report writing.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills; highly responsible, team-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data analysis or research tools is a plus.

• Willingness to travel occasionally (domestic U.S. or international).

Pay: From $72,000.00 per year
