Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, cashiering, and customer service to ensure smooth functioning.

• Manage employee orientation, training & development programs to build a motivated and knowledgeable team.

• Oversee recruiting efforts, conduct interviewing processes, and participate in hiring top talent for various roles.

• Implement effective merchandising strategies, pricing policies, and inventory management practices to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage.

• Coordinate purchasing activities, manage POS (Point of Sale) systems, and handle cash handling procedures with accuracy.

• Develop and monitor budgets, perform bookkeeping tasks, and ensure compliance with financial procedures such as payroll processing.

• Foster a positive team environment through managerial communication, leadership, coaching, and supervising experience.

• Maintain organizational standards for store cleanliness, stock levels, stock rotation, and safety protocols.

• Utilize marketing initiatives to promote store products and increase customer engagement in a competitive retail landscape.

• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries efficiently and maintaining phone etiquette.

• Manage shift schedules effectively while overseeing operational management tasks such as stock replenishment and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team management and retail store operations.

• Strong skills in negotiation, team management, leadership, and managerial communication.

• Experience with recruiting, interviewing candidates, employee orientation, training & development programs.

• Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, budgeting, and inventory management tools.

• Knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, sales analysis, and basic math skills for daily operations.

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.

• Demonstrated supervisory experience in retail environments such as grocery stores or specialty retail stores preferred.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

• Strong customer service orientation combined with phone etiquette skills.

• Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus but not required.
