We are looking for an experienced Logistics Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day logistics operations, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and ensure efficient and timely execution of operational activities.

Key Responsibilities
1. Team Management & Operational Oversight

  • Lead, manage, and guide the logistics team by setting daily priorities, monitoring performance, reviewing deliverables, and resolving operational bottlenecks.
  • Ensure zero untracked orders and maintain delivery TAT standards across both sales channels.
  • Review daily shipment tracking reports submitted by the logistics executive and take immediate action on delays, exceptions, and pending deliveries.
  • Monitor overall operational efficiency and ensure smooth coordination across all logistics activities.
  1. Escalation Management & Claims
  • Take ownership of all operational escalations, including delayed deliveries, missing shipments, damaged goods, and logistics partner disputes.
  • File, manage, and follow up on insurance claims for lost or damaged shipments, ensuring end-to-end resolution.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to resolve escalations within defined SLAs.
  • Maintain a comprehensive escalation log covering issue types, responsible parties, resolution timelines, and final outcomes.
  • Identify recurring operational issues and share insights and recommended process or policy improvements with management.
  1. Logistics Vendor & Partner Management
  • Manage relationships with all logistics partners, including rate negotiations, commercial terms, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Evaluate and select logistics vendors based on cost efficiency, service coverage, delivery performance, and reliability.
  • Cross-verify logistics invoices against agreed rate cards and contractual terms to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Monitor and analyse delivery performance, service quality, and operational efficiency across all logistics partners.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise logistics costs and improve partner performance.
  1. Finance Coordination & Reporting
  • Reconcile monthly logistics expenses and ensure accurate tracking of shipping costs.
  • Reconcile COD remittances received from logistics partners against delivered orders and identify any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the finance and accounts teams to resolve billing issues, payment mismatches, and outstanding remittances.
  • Prepare and submit regular logistics performance, cost, and reconciliation reports to management.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on pending invoices, credit notes, claims, and financial disputes.

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a managerial or team-handling role will be preferred.
  • Strong vendor management, coordination, and negotiation skills.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and MIS reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Experience in logistics, courier, transportation, or e-commerce operations will be an advantage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
