As a Property Accountant, you will independently manage a real estate portfolio, monitoring financial performance and ensuring smooth property accounting operations. You will handle business transactions, reconcile accounts, prepare financial statements, and act as a key contact for various stakeholders.

As a Property Accountant, you independently manage a real estate portfolio and monitor the financial performance of your properties. You work closely with commercial and technical property management, controlling, and other departments, ensuring that all property accounting runs smoothly.

You independently manage the accounting for a fixed real estate portfolio.
You post ongoing business transactions in the general and subsidiary ledgers.
You reconcile tenant accounts, accounts payable, owner accounts, and general ledger accounts.
You handle payment runs and monitor the liquidity of the properties.
You prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements at the property accounting level.
You are the point of contact for tax advisors/auditors, clients, and external partners.
You ensure that the property accounting remains transparent and traceable.
This is what you bring with you
Completed commercial training, e.g., as a real estate agent, tax clerk, or similar
Experience in real estate accounting or property accounting
Proficient use of accounting systems (e.g., iX-Haus is a plus)
Good knowledge of accounting according to German GAAP (HGB)
A structured, meticulous, and independent work style
Understanding of the interrelationships within the real estate industry (rents, ancillary costs, vacancy rates)
