About the Role
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead environmental emergency response projects while supporting business growth and client relationships. This role combines project management, technical environmental expertise, and emergency response leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Manage medium-sized environmental and emergency response projects from planning through closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and within scope.
Lead project teams by assigning work, mentoring staff, and coordinating resources.
Serve as the primary client contact for new emergency response projects.
Support emergency response activities, including after-hours callouts as needed.
Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and performance reports.
Manage project scope, requirements, stakeholder engagement, and quality assurance.
Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and presentations.
Identify project risks, implement mitigation strategies, and coordinate issue resolution.
Support business development, client relationship management, and regional growth initiatives.
Promote continuous improvement and maintain knowledge of industry regulations, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
3–6 years of relevant environmental project management experience.
Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff.
Experience with emergency preparedness, environmental assessment/sampling, air monitoring, ICS, SCAT, and PHMSA-related work.
Experience with railroad or pipeline emergency response is preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and client management skills.
Willingness to participate in emergency response activities outside normal business hours.

Salary: $72,019–$120,011 annually, based on location and experience.
