Job Description

  • Independently review title commitments, surveys, and zoning reports for commercial real estate properties.

  • Prepare and distribute title, survey, and zoning comment memos.

  • Coordinate directly with title companies, surveyors, zoning consultants, attorneys, and closing teams.

  • Support commercial real estate transactions involving multiple properties and large deal files.

  • Assist with drafting and organizing loan documents and closing materials.

  • Help manage diligence workflows for large real estate portfolios.

  • Organize closing binders, deal files, and electronic document submissions.

  • Support attorneys, senior paralegals, and practice group leadership on transaction-related projects.

  • Maintain strong organization, confidentiality, and attention to detail in a fast-paced deal environment.

  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented professional environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience.

  • Strong experience reviewing title, survey, and zoning materials.

  • Experience preparing title comment memos and coordinating with title companies, surveyors, and zoning consultants.

  • Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions, finance transactions, mortgage lending, or real estate portfolio deals.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with attorneys and paralegal teams.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF software; experience with document management, timekeeping, or deal management systems is a plus.
