Job Description
Independently review title commitments, surveys, and zoning reports for commercial real estate properties.
Prepare and distribute title, survey, and zoning comment memos.
Coordinate directly with title companies, surveyors, zoning consultants, attorneys, and closing teams.
Support commercial real estate transactions involving multiple properties and large deal files.
Assist with drafting and organizing loan documents and closing materials.
Help manage diligence workflows for large real estate portfolios.
Organize closing binders, deal files, and electronic document submissions.
Support attorneys, senior paralegals, and practice group leadership on transaction-related projects.
Maintain strong organization, confidentiality, and attention to detail in a fast-paced deal environment.
Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented professional environment.
Qualifications
3+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience.
Strong experience reviewing title, survey, and zoning materials.
Experience preparing title comment memos and coordinating with title companies, surveyors, and zoning consultants.
Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions, finance transactions, mortgage lending, or real estate portfolio deals.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with attorneys and paralegal teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF software; experience with document management, timekeeping, or deal management systems is a plus.
