Role overview
Summary
The intern will be responsible for researching and identifying potential corporate partners, conducting personalized cold outreach via email and LinkedIn, and performing discovery calls to understand their hiring needs. They will also pitch Wooble's value proposition, manage objections, and guide new companies through the onboarding process while maintaining a detailed CRM pipeline.
Responsibilities of the Intern:
Research and build targeted lists of SMEs and product companies actively hiring tech talent
Identify the right decision-maker (Founder, CTO, HR Head) and find their contact details
Run structured cold outreach via email and LinkedIn — not mass blasts, actual personalised outreach
Conduct discovery calls to understand a company's hiring pain points
Pitch Wooble's value proposition clearly — portfolio-first hiring, verified talent, faster time-to-hire
Handle objections and follow up consistently until a decision is made
Guide onboarded companies through account setup and ensure they post at least one active job before handoff
Maintain your pipeline in our CRM — every lead, every touchpoint, every stage
Report weekly on leads contacted, demos done, companies onboarded, and blockers
Requirements:
You can write a cold email that actually gets a reply
You're comfortable getting on calls with strangers and holding a conversation
You don't need to be chased — you follow up on your own
You have a basic understanding of how B2B sales or business development works (prior internship experience is a plus, not a must)
You're organised enough to track 20–30 leads without losing context
You want to understand how an early-stage startup actually grows
