We're on a mission to grow Rewire's business by leaps and bounds, and we're looking for a Project Leader to help us reach our goals. You'll have the incredible opportunity to guide data and AI projects, lead small teams, and ensure impactful results for our valued clients. Your role is going to be amazing! You'll get to manage the day-to-day execution of transformation projects or act as a project streamlead, while also deepening your own expertise and contributing to Rewire's thought leadership in the industry.

Where you’ll make a difference

• Lead impactful AI projects for one of our clients – from framing the challenge to delivering AI-driven solutions that unlock business value

• Drive analytical problem-solving, AI solution integration, and output quality within your workstream – leveraging both technology and business acumen to holistically connect solutions with real-world impact

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams – working alongside senior experts and more-junior data scientists to ensure effective delivery

• Foster the growth of 1-3 junior team members – providing day-to-day guidance, sharing knowledge, and creating space for learning on the job

• Build strong relationships with your direct client counterparts – manage the daily collaboration, ensure alignment, and contribute to compelling client presentations

• Contribute to the advancement of our data & AI capabilities – by enhancing methodologies, developing new ideas, and helping shape our intellectual property through hands-on project work

You’re a motivated problem solver and effective communicator – with a passion for driving tangible business growth with the application of data & AI. You’ll thrive with us if you bring:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, or data/AI-driven environments – with a proven track record in data management, analytical value creation, or data-powered business transformation

• Confidence in managing workstreams and collaborating with clients – you align on goals, drive team delivery, and communicate clearly through structured storylines

• Sharp analytical and technical skills – you excel at both problem-solving and executing solutions that bridge business and technology

• A hands-on growth mindset – eager to drive project success and deepen your expertise in data & AI, while sharing knowledge and creating meaningful change with clients

• Driven by curiosity, collaboration, and growth – you enjoy learning, support others, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented project culture

• A strong academic track record (STEM field preferred), fluency in both English and German (written and spoken), and willingness to travel regularly to client sites

Where you’ll work

Most projects require working onsite at client locations throughout Germany (and occasionally Europe) for several days per week.

While our main office is located in Heidelberg, many of our team members are based across various cities in Germany. This reflects our flexible and distributed team structure and means that relocation is not a requirement.

When not working onsite with clients, you're warmly welcome to work from our Heidelberg office or from home.
