Summary
As a Junior Nature Conservation and Environmental Planner, you will support the team in Frankfurt with diverse nature conservation tasks and approval procedures. You will be responsible for creating expert reports, managing approval documents, and coordinating with authorities and stakeholders for infrastructure and industrial projects.

We work in a hybrid model that flexibly combines office and remote work.
Responsibilities:
Creation of nature conservation documents, e.g., landscape management plans, biotope protection studies, species protection contributions, Natura 2000 compatibility studies, and environmental contributions within the framework of planning approval (e.g., EnWG) or approval procedures (e.g., BBergG, BImSchG)
Creation of nature conservation approval documents
Support for approval procedures in an interdisciplinary team of technical planners and environmental experts
Preparation and participation in coordination meetings with approval, nature conservation, and environmental authorities, public bodies, and stakeholders
Creation and/or management of expert opinions and ensuring high quality standards
Support in objection management, including evaluation and coordination of responses to objections from approval procedures on nature conservation topics
Participation in environmental and approval projects for large-scale infrastructural and industrial projects, nationally and internationally
Qualifications:
Completed studies in environmental planning, landscape ecology, nature conservation, geography, or a comparable field
Initial experience in the creation of nature conservation expert opinions and approval documents
Knowledge of relevant environmental and planning legal bases (e.g., BNatSchG, EnWG, BImSchG, BBergG)
Teamwork skills and confident communication with authorities and project participants
Valid driver's license (car)
