The Property Administrator will coordinate activities for real estate acquisitions, capital projects, and insurance renewals within a diverse property portfolio. Position Summary:

Hove offers a unique hands-on environment where an individual can make an impact while continuing to develop their professional skills. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Property Administrator to coordinate activities on multiple projects including acquisitions, capital expenditures (renovations and new constructions projects) and insurance policy renewal. As integral member of the Team, the Project Manager will coordinate with property managers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders – including senior management to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with asset performance goals. The position requires applied industrial property experience, knowledge of construction & strong organisation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities related to new acquisitions and capital projects - including renovations, tenant improvements, and repositioning efforts and new build construction.

  • Assist with project scopes, budgets, timelines, risk assessments, and compliance with all local codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations.

  • Assist with bidding and contractor selection process; manage vendor relationships.

  • Track project progress and timelines; providing regular status reports to senior leadership and members of the transaction team.

  • Partner with HSPL’s property management and leasing teams during project execution.

  • Assist with the development of the annual business plans / budgets for the properties.

  • Generally engaged to assist in all aspect of executing the portfolio strategies, as directed by the COO.

  • Assist with the annual insurance renewal, including management of any recommended actions from Insurer.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years' related experience, specifically in working in property and / or asset management.

  • Minimum direct exposure to the industrial asset class of 2 years.

  • Demonstrated project management experience in the commercial real estate sector.

  • Basic knowledge of commercial construction, building systems, construction and property operations.

  • Broad understanding of overall real estate legal principles, leases and operations.

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Property Management software, such as MRI, MS EXCEL, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Demonstrate excellent organizational & time management skills, and possess ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment with specified deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Exhibit attention to detail and accuracy in daily activities but also the ability to connect strategic objectives and culmination of financial results.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • University or College degree in Business, Real Estate, Urban Geography or Economics is preferred.
