Role overview
Summary
This role involves motor-manual timber harvesting, sustainable forest management, and active participation in reforestation and tree population care. The Forester will also implement biodiversity measures, maintain road networks, and ensure traffic safety while working in a collegial team environment.
What can you expect?
They take over the motor-manual timber harvesting and ensure sustainable forest management through harvest preparation, precise felling and the sorting of the timber.
They actively shape the future of the forest by ensuring reforestation and the care of tree populations.
Working closely with the team, you will implement targeted measures to promote biodiversity and maintain valuable biotopes in accordance with our nature conservation goals.
They ensure the safety and usability of the road network through regular repair and maintenance work.
They carry out important traffic safety measures along paths and roads and carefully document their activities.

Attractive salary package: Look forward to an annual salary between €45,000 and €50,000 as well as a company pension scheme.

What should you bring?
You have completed training as a forester (m/f/d) or have a comparable qualification.
They bring basic knowledge of natural forestry and have a particular interest in forest ecology and nature conservation.
Your confident demeanor, organizational skills, and sense of responsibility make you a convincing asset in everyday work.
They are team players and able to handle conflict, communicate clearly, and enjoy interacting with people.
They work independently and in a solution-oriented manner and possess a valid Class B driving licence – ideally also Class BE.
