This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of conservation, helping to protect and restore wildlife-rich landscapes while building the ecological evidence needed to guide meaningful, long-term change.
From leading surveys across diverse habitats to developing innovative ecological opportunity mapping, you will be central to understanding and improving the Tees Valley’s natural environment. In your first year, you’ll take on an exciting focus on coastal seabird opportunity mapping, collaborating with partners and specialists to identify new ways to support these iconic species and their habitats.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on combining fieldwork, data and partnership working to deliver real impact. You’ll engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from local authorities and landowners to community groups - translating ecological insight into practical action through planning advice, Biodiversity Net Gain input, and the development of ambitious conservation projects.
