Summary

Fiserv’s Technology Internship Program is a 2-month immersive experience designed to give students hands-on exposure to the fintech industry. Interns will assist in designing and developing technology solutions, support application development, and participate in innovation initiatives under the guidance of senior engineers. They will work on real-world projects involving software development, automation, and testing, gaining exposure to various technologies and Agile practices.

Fiserv’s Technology Internship Program is a 2-month immersive experience designed to give students hands-on exposure to the fintech industry. Interns will work on real projects, learn cutting-edge technologies, and collaborate with experienced professionals to solve meaningful business challenges. This program offers structured learning, mentorship, and an opportunity to understand how technology powers global financial services.

What Does a Technology Intern Do at Fiserv?

  • Assist in designing and developing technology solutions under the guidance of senior engineers.

  • Support application development, testing, and deployment activities across various platforms.

  • Analyze requirements and contribute to technical documentation for ongoing projects.

  • Participate in innovation initiatives and process improvements within the team.

What You Will Do:

  • Work on real-world projects involving software development, automation, and testing.

  • Gain exposure to technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, SQL, and API testing.

  • Learn Agile development practices and collaborate in sprint activities.

  • Engage in mentorship sessions and technical workshops to accelerate learning.

What You Will Need to Have:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Computer Science, IT and etc.).

  • Strong academic performance (CGPA 8+ preferred).

  • Basic knowledge of programming and problem-solving skills.

  • Familiarity with MS Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.

  • Foundational exposure to AI/ML concepts, such as understanding basic algorithms, data handling, or using AI powered tools and platforms, with an eagerness to learn and apply emerging technologies.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

What Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of programming languages: Java, .NET, C, C++, Python.

  • Exposure to SQL, T-SQL, and data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau.

  • Understanding of software testing concepts and tools like Selenium.

  • Awareness of cloud technologies and modern development practices.
